Xiaomi today introduced its latest laptops Redmi Book 14 2025 and REDMI Book 15 2025 for the Chinese market. These laptops feature a good compact design and powerful specs.
These new laptops feature durable aluminum alloy and CNC-machined hinges to ensure solid build quality. Redmi Book 14 weighs 1.36kg and is only 15.9mm in thickness. Redmi Book 16 has the same thickness and weighs 1.65kg. Redmi also includes a 180-degree opening mechanism for flexibility during presentations. These laptops also feature a full-size keyboard offering 1.3mm key travel and three-level backlight. You also get Windows 11 out of the box.
Redmi Book 14 features a 14-inch 2.8K display with 2880×1800 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It can dynamically adjust the refresh rate between 60Hz and 120Hz for efficiency. The display panel has 400 nits brightness and boasts a 100% sRGB color gamut. The display is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free viewing.
The laptop is powered by 13th Gen Intel Core i5-220H processor with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. It also includes a dual-fan cooling system for heat management. Users can quickly switch between Quiet, Balanced, and Performance modes.
Redmi Book 14 packs a 56Wh battery that promises up to 13.8 hours of battery backup and comes with a 100W GaN charger. It charges 50% in just 32 minutes.
Redmi Book 16 comes with a larger 16-inch 2.5K display with 2560×1600 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts 400 nits brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut. TÜV Rheinland certification is also there for low blue light and flicker-free operation.
The laptop packs 13th Gen Intel Core i5-220H processor with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. It also has a dual-fan cooling system with AI optimization. It promises to enhance performance by up to 19.97% in Excel and 18.24% in Photoshop.
Redmi Book 16 packs a 72Wh battery that claims up to 19.05 hours and it supports 100W fast charging via a GaN adapter.
Both models feature a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 for high-speed data transfer and charging. There is also a HDMI 2.1 for external displays, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-A 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For wireless connectivity, it also offers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are also there for enhanced visuals and audio experience.
For a better experience, Xiaomi has also added HyperOS Connect which enables seamless collaboration across devices, including phones, tablets, and even cars.
