Xiaomi India has officially revealed a new identity and logo for its Redmi brand. This move marks a big step in the brand’s journey as it looks to connect with a new generation of users in India.

Redmi entered the Indian market back in 2014. Since then, it has become one of the most trusted smartphone brands in the country. Xiaomi says it has sold over 220 million Redmi devices in India and shipped more than 1.1 billion Redmi smartphones globally.

The new logo and identity are part of a larger shift in how Redmi wants to be seen by young Indian users. Xiaomi says today’s youth are ambitious, resilient, and focused on building their future. And Redmi wants to grow with them.

“Redmi has always stood for making the impossible possible,” said Sudhin Mathur, COO at Xiaomi India. “We were the first smartphone for millions of Indians. Now, those users have grown, and so have we. This new identity reflects our shared growth and future.”

Over the years, Redmi has launched some of India’s most popular phones. From the Redmi Note 4 to the Redmi Note 14 5G series, the brand has focused on offering value and performance. Phones like the Redmi 12 5G and Redmi 13 5G have also played a key role in making 5G more affordable for the masses.

Now, Xiaomi is getting ready to launch the Redmi 15 on August 19, 2025. This phone will be the first to carry the new Redmi identity and marks the beginning of a new chapter for the brand.

The company says this rebranding is not just about the logo. It is about understanding what today’s users need and designing products that help them move forward.

Redmi is no longer just a budget brand. With this refreshed look and new focus, Xiaomi wants to make Redmi a brand that continues to deliver innovation, value, and trust.
