In a recent mix-up, X (formerly known as Twitter) AI chatbot ‘Grok’ provided inaccurate information about a viral photo featuring cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and RJ Mahvash at the India vs New Zealand Champions Trophy final in Dubai on Sunday (March 9).

A user shared the image of Chahal and Mahvash enjoying the match from the stands and tagged Grok, asking for the identities of the people in the picture.

However, Grok’s response left netizens puzzled. The chatbot stated, “The two in the photo at the Champions Trophy final in Dubai are likely Atif Aslam, a famous Pakistani singer, and Urvashi Rautela, a Bollywood actress, who were spotted at the India-Pakistan match earlier in the tournament.”

Netizens react to the error

The erroneous reply quickly caught attention on social media, with users pointing out the glaring mistake. Many expressed their amusement at the AI’s blunder, while others called for improved accuracy in Grok’s responses.

Reacting to the error, a user replied, “Hey @elonmusk @cb_doge I think #grok needs more Training !!! Please help him.”

“Hence Proved AI is not going to take our Jobs,” joked another user.

Another user also tagged Elon Musk and said, “Hello your grok system needs the eye check up.”
