On 3rd March (Tuesday), President Donald Trump declared that the majority of Iran’s military was “knocked out” by the assaults launched by the United States and Israel. “Just about everything’s been knocked out. They have no navy, it’s been knocked out. They have no air force. It’s been knocked out. They have no air detection, that’s been knocked out. Their radar has been knocked out,” he expressed during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
Trump also conveyed his opinions regarding who could assume the role of the next leader of Iran and stated, “Well, most of the people we had in mind are dead. We had some in mind from that group that is dead. Now we have another group. They may be dead also based on reports.”

The president asserted, “We have them very much beaten militarily, from the military standpoint. They’re still lobbing some missiles. They won’t even be able to do that because we’re hitting all of their carriers. We’re hitting all of their missile stock and we’re knocking out a lot.”
“I guess the worst case would be we do this and then somebody takes over who’s as bad as the previous person, right? That could happen. We don’t want that to happen. It would probably be the worst. You go through this and then in five years, you realise you put somebody in who was no better. So we’d like to see somebody in there that’s going to bring it back for the people,” he added.
On 28th February, Israel, with the support of the United States, executed lethal strikes against Iran, resulting in the death of its Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with several high-ranking officials of the nation. The Islamic Republic responded by targeting American military bases in the Middle East. The situation has been intensifying, leaving the region unstable as missile stikes persist from both sides, leading to casualties and destruction.
