Weeks after YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps and Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent controversy, stand-up comedian Swati Sachdeva is now in the headlines for all the wrong reasons after making a vulgar joke about her mother during one of her shows. A video going viral on social media shows Swati joking about her mother finding her vibrator, which did not sit well with netizens. She faced backlash, with several calling her ‘filthy’ and ‘shameless.’

The episode, titled Family First, was released on her YouTube channel a few days ago and depicted how Swati’s mother tried to be the ‘cool mother’ after discovering the vibrator, leading to an awkward conversation. She joked, “I was sure she (my mother) was going to ask me to lend the vibrator. She started calling it (the vibrator) a gadget, a toy. I was like, ‘I swear, Mom, it belongs to Papa.’ She said, ‘Don’t speak nonsense; I know his choice.'”
