The first complaint against Chaitanyananda Saraswati was filed on August 4, 2025, by P.A. Murli, the administrator of Sri Sringeri Math and its properties. Delhi Police stated that CCTV footage was analyzed and several raids were conducted at both the accused’s home and the incident site.

Who Is Swami Chaitanyananda?

A case has been registered against Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, manager of a private engineering institute in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj, for allegedly molesting several female students. Delhi Police said that Parth Sarathi, has sexually harassed about 17 girls. He is currently absconding. The victims include students who were pursuing a PGDM course at the institute under the EWS scholarship. Hence, it becomes important to understand the complete background of this person who claims to be god.

According to the latest update, statements of 32 girls have been recorded in the ongoing investigation, out of which 17 have accused him of using abusive language, sending obscene WhatsApp/SMS messages, and making unauthorized physical contact. Vasant Kunj police have registered a case against Chaitanyananda Saraswati under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). His car with a fake UN number plate has also been seized.

Who Is Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati?

According to Delhi Police, Chaitanyananda Saraswati is originally from Odisha and has been living in the ashram for the past 12 years. He worked as both the administrator and caretaker of the ashram. Currently, he is the manager of a private engineering institute located in the Vasant Kunj area. This is not the first time Chaitanyananda Saraswati has faced criminal charges. In 2009, a case of cheating and molestation was registered against him in Defence Colony, and in 2016, a woman in Vasant Kunj filed a molestation complaint.

What Police Found In Investigation?

Accordingly, a case under sections 75(2)/79/351(2) BNS was registered at PS Vasant Kunj North, and an investigation was taken up. CCTV footage were analyzed, and several raids were conducted at the place of incident as well as at the addresses of the alleged person. However, the accused is evading. NVRs/ hard disks collected from SRISIIM Institute sent to FSL. Statements under sections 83 BNSS of 16 victims have been recorded before a Judicial Magistrate at the Patiala House Courts.

During the investigation, a Volvo car was found parked in the basement of the institution. On verification, it was found that the car with forged diplomatic number plate 39 UN 1 was allegedly used by Chaitanyanand Saraswati .
