Storyline
The movie tells the story of a young man named Prabhu, who is still struggling to move on from a breakup that occurred a year ago. It explores his challenges in life and the difficulties he faces while trying to socialize. The plot takes an interesting turn when his mother insists that he marry his childhood friend, Preethi, before he has fully healed from his past. Things become even more complicated when he decides to meet Preethi, who encourages him to attend his ex-girlfriend’s wedding in order to gain closure. What will happen next?
The film was initially developed in 2016, with Dhanush expected to play the lead role under Soundarya Rajinikanth’s direction. However, it didn’t happen, which led Dhanush to direct the film.
