Weather Forecast: The IMD has issued a yellow alert for fog in Delhi-NCR. The weather department said Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar may experience light clouds today. A rain alert has been issued in Tamil Nadu.
Today’s Weather: Residents of Delhi and adjoining National Capital Region (NCR) woke up to dense fog and shivery winds. The weather is constantly changing in North India. On Saturday, Delhi-NCR witnessed a dense fog that covered the sun rays, further dipping the temperature. Parts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar are engulfed in fog. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar may experience light clouds on Sunday. However, IMD has clarified that there are no chances of rain while the minimum temperature is expected to rise.
Delhi-NCR Weather
After Saturday, dense fog enveloped Delhi-NCR on Sunday morning. During early morning the visibility was significantly reduced across the entire NCR, including Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad. Vehicles were seen crawling on the roads. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the fog.

Delhi Air Quality
The air quality in Delhi-NCR is deteriorating to hazardous levels. By Saturday evening, the overall AQI was recorded at 440. According to the National Air Quality Survey, the AQI on Sunday exceeded 500.
The IMD said that an active western disturbance in the Himalayas is likely to bring cloudy skies to Delhi-NCR. However there are no signs of rain in the region. The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 10 to 11 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was around 24 degrees Celsius.
Jammu And Kashmir Weather
The weather department has reported a fresh western disturbance due to which rain and snowfall is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Tamil Nadu is expected to experience light rain.
