Social media sensation Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, shares a close bond with Ananya Panday and even made a cameo in her 2024 show Call Me Bae. Recently, he claimed that the actress was ‘jealous’ and ‘insecure’ about his presence on the show. He also revealed that the two had a major fallout between them during filming.

Speaking on the Aleena Dissects podcast, Orry shared, “We had a very big fallout when we were shooting for Call Me Bae… Then we patched up. She was jealous and insecure that I was going to be on Call Me Bae. She made some very mean comments at me. I said if Ananya Panday is threatened by my presence on set, then surely I am on the right track.”

Further, Orry added, “If such a senior actor… To me, she’s a senior actor. She’s the lead actor on set, she could have me removed from the show. If she was threatened by my presence, then surely I am doing something right. She was not happy with me on set, no.”

Ananya Panday is yet to react to Orry’s shocking claims.

Call Me Bae was directed by Colin D’Cunha and produced under Dharmatic Entertainment. The series also starred Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur, among others.

It follows the riches-to-rags journey of a billionaire fashionista, Bae aka Bella Chowdhary, played by Panday. The show has been renewed for a second season.
