Education Secretary Linda McMahon will testify Wednesday on the White House’s budget request for the agency that President Donald Trump has ordered to be dismantled.

McMahon will appear before a House Appropriations panel, where she will likely be questioned by Democrats about staffing cuts at the Education Department.

Last week, the Education Department co-signed a letter to Harvard University cutting an additional $450 million in grants to the institution, and accusing the school of being “breeding ground for virtue signaling and discrimination.”
