Delhi Red Fort blast: A major revelation has been made regarding the suicide bombing near the Red Fort in Delhi which will mark its first month anniversary on November 10. The NIA investigation has revealed that before terrorizing Delhi, suicide bomber Dr. Umar-Un-Nabi had tested explosives in the forests of Kashmir and then carried out the terrorist attack, which claimed the lives of 15 people and injured many more. On Tuesday, the NIA launched a search operation in the Mattan forest area in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the car bombing.
Trial of blast in the forests of Kashmir!
According to media reports, the NIA raided the Mattan Forest area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday. Investigators had previously discovered that Dr. Umar Nabi, the prime suspect in the Delhi terror attacks, allegedly tested explosives there. These tests were conducted as part of preparations for the Delhi bombings.
Suicide bomber’s companions arrived
The Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF also assisted the NIA team during Tuesday’s raid. The NIA also brought along Dr. Adil Rather and Jasir Bilal Wani, two of the accused arrested in the terror case, to the forest site where the suicide bomber tested the explosives. According to reports, the two accused had previously disclosed the location of the forest location.
Investigation into the terror links of the terrorist module
During the raid, investigators recovered a damaged cylinder believed to have been used during explosive testing. The investigating agency is now investigating the explosives used, as part of a broader investigation into the Delhi bombings. According to officials, further investigations are underway in the forests to connect each link between the trial and the wider network of the white-collar terrorist module.
So far, Al-Falah University in Faridabad, adjacent to Delhi, has emerged as the hub of the white-collar terrorist module . This is because many of the accused in the Delhi bombings, who are doctors by profession, are directly connected to this university. Among them was the suicide bomber, Dr. Umar Un Nabi.
