Mac N Cheese, a studio with former Cyberpunk 2077 art leads, has announced Void Martyrs for PC. This is a grimdark top-down action game where you play as a nun on a space mission. Your goal is to recover sacred relics while fighting a deadly biomechanical plague.
The game features a Stigmata/Faith system that affects your journey. You can fight your way through enemies, but it will make survival harder. If you choose a pure path, you will have to find other ways to stay alive.
You will explore abandoned ships and giant space cathedrals for resources. Craft weapons and tools to help you survive. Every choice impacts your sanctity, unlocking saintly or cursed items.
If you die, the Universal Church will send another nun to continue the mission.
Void Martyrs takes inspiration from Darkwood, Signalis, Blasphemous, and Void Bastards. It combines horror, roguelite elements, and a unique art style. The game offers single-player gameplay and has Procedural levels for new challenges each time..
Void Martyrs is in development for PC. You can wishlist it on Steam now.
