vivo has officially started teasing the vivo X200T in India. It confirms that the phone launch is soon. The teaser has gone live on Flipkart and focuses mainly on the camera. It confirms a periscope telephoto camera with ZEISS optics. These are features we already saw on the recently launched X200 FE, but the camera design on the X200T looks different.
The teaser does not reveal full specifications, but the timing is important. Flipkart’s Republic Day Sale starts this weekend, and vivo is clearly building hype around the phone. Based on this, the X200T is expected to launch sometime next week, likely around Republic Day 2026.
While vivo is keeping official details under wraps, leaks and rumours have already painted a clear picture of what to expect. The vivo X200T is said to feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor.
Reports suggest a 50MP Sony LYT-702 main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera using the Samsung JN1 sensor, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with the Sony LYT-600 sensor. On the front, the phone could feature a 32MP selfie camera. ZEISS branding on the teaser confirms vivo’s continued focus on camera quality.
The X200T is expected to pack a 6200mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging support. If this turns out to be true, it will be a step up for users who want both long battery life and fast charging.
On the software side, the phone is said to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. vivo is also expected to offer strong long-term support, with up to five Android OS updates and seven years of security patches. This would place the X200T among the better-supported Android phones in its segment.
Other expected features include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and eSIM support. The eSIM feature is notable because it was missing on the X200 FE.
The X200T launch also fits into vivo’s broader X200 series timeline. The series started in late 2024 with the original X200 models, expanded in 2025 with high-end and FE variants, and now continues in early 2026 with the X200T
