Parvesh Verma family and education: One of the names that has grabbed the most headlines since Saturday is that of Delhi BJP leader Parvesh Verma who defeated former Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal from the popular New Delhi assembly seat. Coming from a big political family, Parvesh is the son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma. Here are all the details about Parvesh Verma, who is reportedly one of the top candidates for becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi.

Talking about his educational qualifications, Parvesh Verma completed his school education from DPS School located in RK Puram, Delhi. He completed his graduated from Kirori Mal College of Delhi University. Later in his life, Parvesh has also completed MBA in Business.

Parvesh Verma’s family includes his wife, Swati Singh Verma, who comes from a political background as the daughter of veteran BJP leader Vikram Verma from Madhya Pradesh. Her mother, Neena Verma, is currently serving as an MLA. Swati holds an MBA degree. The couple has three children: two daughters named Sanidhi and Trisha, both of whom were actively involved in campaigning for the assembly elections, along with their brother.

BJP’s ‘giant slayer’ Parvesh Verma who defeated former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal from the New Delhi constituency said the party’s leadership will decide the next chief minister of Delhi. Verma, former Delhi chief minister Sahib Singh Verma’s son, thanked the people and called the result “the victory of the people of the national capital”.

“This is not just my victory, this is the victory of the people of Delhi who chose truth over lies, governance over gimmicks and development over deception. I humbly thank every voter who trusted me,” he said.

Verma credits PM Modi and Amit Shah

Verma further said under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J P Nadda, they would work tirelessly to bring a “real change” in Delhi.

“This mandate is a clear message that people want honest, transparent and development-driven politics. My commitment to serve with integrity and dedication remains unwavering,” Verma said.

A former MP of the West Delhi constituency, Verma said a “new chapter has begun for Delhi” and together, “we will build a brighter future”. Parvesh alleged that Kejriwal did not work in Delhi in the last 11 years.
