Madhya Pradesh: Truck Catches Fire, Flour Worth ₹2 Lakh Destroyed In Satna | FP Photo

Satna (Madhya Pradesh): A truck loaded with flour caught fire near Krishnagarh dam under Rampur Baghela police station in Satna at 3am on Tuesday.

Flour worth Rs 2 lakh was burnt to ashes when the truck was going from Sitpura in Satna to Jabalpur. The truck driver and other staff saved their lives by jumping out of the vehicle.

The truck caught fire because of short circuit, sources said. According to eyewitnesses, the fire spread so fast that it engulfed the truck in a few seconds, turning it into ashes.

Those who were present at the spot informed the police and fire brigade. The firemen could douse the flames after struggling for an hour. The police began to inquire the incident. According to preliminary investigation, short circuit was the reason behind the incident of fire.

Fire breaks out at Shahdol’s Handloom shop, 4 rescued

Shahdol: A fire broke out in Bharti Tower and several shops, including Haryana Handloom on Tuesday.

On getting information, a team of Reliance, fire brigade of Nagar Palika, and tankers rushed to the spot and rescued four employees of Bharti Press from the tower.

There was no report any loss of life in the incident. The fire was brought under control at 11am. Locals said the fire started from the Haryana Handloom shop.

Collector Kedar Singh, superintendent of Ramnji Shrivastava, SDM Arvind Shah and other officials were present during the rescue operation.
