Mumbai Rains: Traffic Police Help Motorist Stranded In Matunga Amid Heavy Waterlogging | Instagram|@mumbaipolice

Mumbai: Heavy rains hit Mumbai on Monday morning, causing waterlogging in many parts of the city. This led to traffic jams and made it hard for people to travel. But even in these tough conditions, the Mumbai Traffic Police showed great dedication by helping commuters and keeping roads as safe as possible.

A video shared on the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the Mumbai Traffic Police shows officers helping a stranded motorist whose car had broken down in the water. The officers pushed the car to a safe place and also managed the traffic, making sure there were no more problems on the road.

One such kind act happened in Matunga. A driver got stuck in knee-deep water after his car stopped working in the middle of a busy road. The police officers nearby quickly came to help. They pushed the car out of the water and guided traffic at the same time. Their quick action made sure things didn’t get worse.

Other people in the city also shared videos of the traffic police working consistently in the heavy rain. One person posted a video and wrote, “Due to heavy rains in Mumbai, there is waterlogging at many places and the Mumbai Police is alert at every nook and corner; to ensure that no harm is caused to the public, the officers and jawans of Mumbai Police are alert and deployed everywhere, salute Mumbai Police.”

The Mumbai Police have been alert and active across the city to make sure everyone stays safe. Traffic officers are standing in water, helping people and doing their best to manage the situation. People across Mumbai are thanking the police for their hard work and kindness. Authorities have asked citizens to stay home unless necessary and to follow traffic and weather updates.
