The traffic management efforts will primarily focus on key entry points from Noida to Delhi, including the Kalindi, DND, and Chilla borders, by deploying additional traffic police personnel.

Gautam Budh Nagar: In preparation for the Republic Day celebrations and parade rehearsals, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police has implemented extensive traffic arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow. As part of the measures, the entry of goods vehicles (including heavy, medium, or light weighted) from Gautam Buddh Nagar into Delhi will be restricted. A formal traffic advisory will be issued in advance to inform the public about these changes.

The traffic management efforts will primarily focus on key entry points from Noida to Delhi, including the Kalindi, DND, and Chilla borders, by deploying additional traffic police personnel. Civil police will also assist at locations such as New Ashok Nagar, Jhundpura, and Haridarshan.Ā  The key entry points to Delhi from Noida are Kalindi, DND, Chilla, New Ashok Nagar, Vasundhara, Jhundpura, and Haridarshan. The heavy goods vehicles approaching Delhi from these border points will be diverted to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway to reach their destinations.

Key diversions

For vehicles entering Delhi via the DND border, will be required to takeĀ  U-turn at the DND toll plaza, and proceed to their destination via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Similarly, vehicles coming through the Chilla Red Light border will also take a U-turn and follow the same route. Vehicles approaching Delhi via the Kalindi Kunj Yamuna border will be diverted from the underpass trisection before the Yamuna River and directed to the same route. Meanwhile, Goods vehicles coming from the Yamuna Expressway will be diverted from Zero Point towards the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

Security checks and Parking systems

The Traffic Policeā€™s Quick Response Team (QRT) will be deployed to ensure that no vehicles are parked on main roads. In exceptional cases, vehicles may be temporarily parked along Chilla-Shani Mandir Road, Pusta Road Sector 94, and the service road near Sector 44. Additionally, parking at several DMRC metro stations in Noida, including Botanical Garden, City Center, Electronic City, and Bird Century, will be closed for security purposes during this time.

Delhi Police Traffic advisory

Earlier on Tuesday, the Delhi Traffic Police also issued traffic advisory the commuters urging them to read the advisory and plan their routes accordingly. Taking on X (foremerly Twitter), the Delhi Traffic Police posted, ā€ In view of Full Dress Republic Day Parade Rehearsal on 22nd January, 2025 and Republic Day Celebration on 25th January, 2025 at Chhatrasal Stadium, Model Town, Delhi, special traffic arrangements will be effective on various routes. Please follow the advisory.ā€

These advisories have been issued by the traffic police to facilitate the uninterrupted movement of Republic Day parade rehearsals on Kartavya Path.
