Aurangabad: Tractor Owner Dies After Falling Into Well While Leveling Land for Cow Shelter |

A tractor, while leveling the land in a farm for constructing a cow shelter, suddenly slid into a well at Eklahare village on Saturday evening. The tractor owner, Sudhakar Sonaji Tilve (Sadguru Housing Society, N-8 Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), died in the incident.

According to the details, Sudhakar Tilve had purchased a farm in Eklahare around six months ago to construct a cow shelter. He had started leveling the farm land a few days ago. On Saturday, the work was ongoing, and around 4 pm, the tractor driver and others went for lunch. Tilve then started the tractor himself to continue leveling the land. However, he lost control, and the tractor, along with him, fell into the well, which did not have a security wall. The workers from a nearby farm, after hearing the noise, rushed to the spot. Villagers Babasaheb Gaikwad, Sham Joshi, Balu Gangurde, and others immediately informed the Waluj MIDC police about the incident.

PSI Sandeep Kale, constables Prashant Sonawane, along with fire brigade officers Laxman Kolhe, Sangram More, Shivsambha Kalyankar, Appasaheb Gaikwad, Vijay Kothmire, Mahindra Kothmire, Ketan Ghadge, Chandrasingh Gite, and others rushed to the spot and initiated a rescue operation. The body of Sudhakar Tilve was brought out of the well at around 6 pm and was taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The doctors declared him dead after examination. A case of accidental death has been registered with the Waluj MIDC police station. The tractor could not be taken out due to the dark.
