Indian Railways Vande Bharat has made train travel smooth and luxurious. Vande Bharat Express is a medium to long-distance semi-high speed superfast express service operated by Indian Railways. It is a reserved, air-conditioned chair car service connecting cities that are less than 800 km apart or take less than ten hours to travel with existing services and a planned reserved, air-conditioned sleeper service connecting cities that are 800 km to 1,200 km apart.

Agra Cantonment-Banaras Vande Bharat Express is the 64th Vande Bharat Express train, connecting the famous Yamuna river bank city of Agra to the Ganga city of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. This express train was inaugurated on September 16, 2024 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
This train is currently operated by Indian Railways, connecting Agra Cantt, Tundla Junction, Etawah Junction, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj (Allahabad) Junction and Banaras. It currently runs 6 days a week.
Agra Cantt – Banaras Vande Bharat Express currently runs 6 days a week, covering a distance of 573 km in a travel time of 7 hrs with an average speed of 82 km/hr. Maximum Permissible Speed (MPS) will be confirmed after commercial runs.
