Telegram has just rolled out an interesting update for Android users. The update brings native support for Chromecast (Google Cast) devices. This means you can now cast videos directly from Telegram to your TV without the need for third-party apps or downloads.
Previously, if you wanted to watch a video received on Telegram on a larger screen, you had to download the file and use a separate app that supported Chromecast. Now, with the latest update, Telegram has eliminated this extra step, making video sharing and viewing more convenient than ever.
“Android users can now cast videos straight to their Chromecast devices — whether you’re watching memes with friends or presenting important content in a meeting, enjoy it all on the big screen,” said Telegram.
Apart from Chromecast support, Telegram has also introduced enhancements to its platform. Now you can use Telegram Stars to share Premium perks with others. Telegram Gateway is getting an update. Telegram Gateway is a cost-effective way for user authentication. Now, developers can set a max delivery time. If the code isn’t delivered within the window, it’s automatically refunded. The app now also lets users pin up to 6 other gifts to showcase them both on their gifts tab and on their profile cover.
Telegram is already a popular platform to find pirated content and watch. With this new update, users can quickly cast the content on big screen for better video experience.
