Bengal suicide: In a shocking incident, a teenage allegedly ended her life by suicide after a neighbour, who used to harass her, circulated her AI-generated nude photos on social media platforms. According to the police, the deceased victim, a class 10 student, was found hanging from the ceiling of her room in Sonarpur in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district on Thursday night.
Victim was harassed by married neighbour
The victim’s family has alleged in their police complaint that the underaged girl, who had been staying at her maternal uncle’s house, was constantly being married by a married man in their neighbourhood, who they claimed had collected her photographs from her social media profiles, used AI tools to generate nude images, and then shared these illicit images online.
The family also accused the man’s family of being actively involved in the harassment of the underaged victim. “We have received a complaint alleging that a married man from the locality has been harassing her. The family also accused members of the man’s family of participating in the harassment. They have demanded strict legal action against all those involved,” the police said.

Teen ended life due to mental stress, says police
