Parbhani: Swaraj Trekkers Conquer Brahmatal And Tungnath Peaks At 12,800 Feet In Uttarakhand |

The members of the Swaraj Trekkers of Parbhani and other mountaineers captured the Brahmatal and Tungnath peaks in the Himalayan ranges at around 12,800 feet altitude in Uttarakhand on February 4.

A team of 17 mountaineers started their expedition from Parbhani on January 28. They reached Chamauli in Uttarakhand on January 31. Their expedition began from the Lohgunj Base Camp. They successfully captured Bhekaltal, Zendi Top, Brahmatal, Tungnath, and other peaks at an altitude of 12,800 feet above sea level.

After conquering the peaks, they shouted the slogan “Shivaji Maharaj Ki Jai” and spread the message of preserving the environment by planting trees. They also placed banners on the peaks, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation. The mountaineers included Ranjeet Karegaonkar, Ajay Malkunayak, Madhav Yadav, Mahendra Motaphale, Kiran Roplekar, Dr. Jayant Bobade, Ravi Reddy, Dayanand Jamsete, Vinu Mehetre, Ganesh Yadav, Mahesh Mokare, Abhijeet Mete, Umesh Fulpagar, Narayan Revenwar, Prasada Suryawanshi, Gulab Garud, Nitin Kale, and others.
