New Delhi: The state is all set for the grand 76th Republic Day celebration. President Droupadi Murmu will lead the nation in celebrating Republic Day at Kartavya Path, with a special focus on the 75th anniversary of the Constitution’s enactment and the theme of ‘Jan Bhagidari’ (People’s Participation). This year’s celebrations will highlight India’s rich cultural diversity, unity, equality, progress, and military prowess. The festivities will begin with Prime Minister Narendra Modi paying tribute to fallen soldiers at the National War Memorial, followed by the parade starting at 10:30 am. The parade will feature a 21-gun salute and musical performances by 300 cultural artists. Notably, Indonesian military contingents will participate, along with India’s diverse military units, including the 61 Cavalry, the only active horsed cavalry regiment.
