The International School Football League, being held from 28th to 30th December 2025 in Hazaribag, continued with an action-packed day of matches as school teams showcased skill, discipline, and competitive spirit on the field. The tournament has brought together young footballing talent from various regions, providing a strong platform for inter-school competition and sportsmanship.
In Match 1, St. Ignatius High School, Gumla delivered a commanding performance to defeat St. Paul’s School, Rourkela by 3–0. Despite St. Paul’s enjoying 58% possession, they struggled to create attacking opportunities, registering no shots on target. St. Ignatius High School made the most of their chances, recording 10 shots, including 4 on target, and capitalizing efficiently to secure a comfortable victory. The match remained disciplined, with just one yellow card shown and no red cards.
In Match 2, Holy Cross School edged past St. Xavier’s School, Godavari with a narrow 1–0 win in a closely fought contest.
