New Delhi: A tragic incident has come to light from Delhi’s old Rajendra Nagar. Here, a speeding vehicle hit a woman, 4-5 children and a street vendor on Tuesday (April 8) night. The injured were rushed to the nearest hospital. The condition of one of the injured is said to be critical. A video of the aftermath of the incident surfaced on the internet and it can be seen in the video that a massive crowd gathered at the site after the incident occurred.
The car that is involved in the accident is a white-colour Hyundai hatchback. The police reached the spot after the incident occurred and initiated an inquiry into the matter.
In the video that has surfaced, the police can be seen noting down the details, clicking pictures and inspecting the vehicle. Further deatils regarding the accident will be revealed after the investigation concludes.
Another incident took place in Delhi on Monday, an individual was charred to death after a car caught fire on the Bijwasan Road flyover in the Chanakyapuri area of the national capital, police said.
The incident took place around 10:32 pm on Monday, following which, firefighters from the Delhi Fire Service swiftly responded and arrived at the scene. The DFS officials extinguished the flames and, upon examining the burnt vehicle, discovered a charred body inside the car. The car’s identity and the cause of the fire are currently under investigation by the police.
