Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he felt spiritually fulfilled after arriving at Anandpur Dham, on Friday.

Addressing the gathering in Gwalior’s Ashoknagar, PM Modi remarked, “My heart is filled with joy. This land is no ordinary place, every particle here has been blessed by the penance of saints, and selflessness has become a tradition. Our saints have said that even sorrow hesitates to enter Ashoknagar.”

Earlier, PM Modi offered prayers at the temples of the Paramhans Advait Mat and met with the chief guru. He also participated in a satsang.

The PM first arrived in Gwalior by an Air Force aircraft and then took a helicopter to reach Anandpur Dham around 3:30 pm. The Prime Minister is expected to stay at the site for about two hours.

PM Modi offered prayers at the temples of Paramhans Advait Mat. He met the chief guru, and participated in a spiritual gathering (satsang).

Governor, CM receive PM Modi

Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and chief minister Mohan Yadav also reached Anandpur Dham. They warmly received the prime minister.

Sharing pictures on his official X handle, CM Mohan Yadav wrote, “A warm welcome and heartfelt greetings to our esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji on the sacred land of Anandpur Dham in Ashoknagar.”

Strict security deployed

As per sources, strict security arrangements have been made for prime minister’s visit. Leaders, including former MPs and MLAs, were allowed entry only after thorough security checks. The checking is being conducted from nearly two kilometers away from the main gate.

The entire area has been on high alert since early afternoon to ensure safety and smooth arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit.

PM’s third visit in 4 months

This is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third visit to Madhya Pradesh in 2025. Before visiting Isagarh, he had visited Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur on February 23, where he laid the foundation stone for a Medical and Science Research Institute. On February 24, he inaugurated the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal.
