New Delhi: India is set to host a significant Global Intelligence Conference amid the ongoing Russia- Ukraine war and escalated tensions in West Asia. According to the reports, the event will be chaired by India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. Notable attendees will include the U.S. Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, Canada’s spy chief Daniel Rogers, and the UK’s MI6 chief Richard Moore. It is important to note that the meeting comes at a time when China, Russia, and Iran are conducting joint naval exercises. Meanwhile, in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, insurgents have hijacked a train in the Bolan region.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on March 16,2025 and will be presided over by NSA Ajit Doval. The conference will focus on intelligence-sharing strategies to combat terrorism and various international crimes. Intelligence chiefs from Australia, Germany, New Zealand, and several other allied nations are also expected to participate in the deliberations in New Delhi.
Gabbard is visiting India as part of her multi-nation tour, which includes stops in Japan, Thailand, and France. This will be the first high-level visit to India by a senior official from the Donald Trump administration. In addition to attending the intelligence chiefs’ conference, Gabbard is also expected to address the Raisina Dialogue and hold a bilateral meeting with NSA Doval.
