According to reports, SSC (GD) examinations were held at different centres on Friday. At the examination centre at Radha Raman Intermediate College in Ratibadh, room invigilator Mayank Pal was suspicious on one of the aspirants and checked his documents and admit card thoroughly. It came to the fore that another person had come to appear in the examination in place of original aspirant Manoj Kumar.
Pal called police to the spot and handed over the solver to them. The solver was identified as Sunil Thakur of Mandala district. Sunil informed that he knew Manoj since 2018 when he came to Bhopal for preparation of competitive examinations. However, Sunil began working as a security guard in a company after failing to crack examinations. Recently, Manoj called him and asked him to appear in the examination in his place in return of Rs 50k.
Police launched a search for Manoj when Sunil claimed that he dropped him to the examination centre. However, Manoj fled as soon as Sunil was arrested. Sub Inspector OP Raghuvanshi said that an FIR has been registered against aspirant Manoj and solver Sunil on the complaint of Mayank Pal. Efforts were on to arrest Manoj, a resident of Morena district, he added.
