Motorola has officially launched the Motorola Edge 60 stylus in India, a smartphone that brings a built-in stylus to its segment for the very first time. The phone is aimed at creators, multitaskers, and professionals. It promises to offer the precision of a stylus with the power of AI and the performance of a flagship phone.
The highlight of the Motorola Edge 60 stylus is its built-in stylus. It allows users to sketch, take notes, edit images, and navigate the interface with pinpoint precision. What makes it even more special is its AI-powered features, including the Sketch to Image tool that can transform rough doodles into detailed images using generative AI.
The stylus is seamlessly integrated into Motorola’s Moto Note app. Users can start writing as soon as they remove the stylus—no need to unlock the phone. It also supports handwriting-to-text conversion, a live animation message feature, a handwriting calculator, and quick-access shortcuts to frequently used apps. This makes the stylus not only a creative tool but also a powerful productivity aid.
Despite housing a built-in stylus, the device is slim at just 8.2mm and weighs only 191g. The device measures 162.15×74.78×8.29mm. It also has IP68 dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H Military-grade durability. It is available in two Pantone curated color options: Surf the Web with a matte finish and Gibraltar Sea with a suede-like vegan leather texture.
Motorola has equipped the Edge 60 stylus with a 6.7-inch 1.5K Super HD pOLED flat display. With a resolution of 1220p, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support, this display is perfect for watching videos, editing images, or browsing. It also supports Smart Water Touch 3.0, which allows the screen to function even in wet conditions.
Motorola Edge 60 stylus runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset based on a 4nm architecture. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, with support for RAM Boost 2.0 and microSD expansion up to 1 TB.
It also runs on the latest Android 15, promising a clean and secure software experience. The Edge 60 stylus introduces Motorola’s Glance AI, a GenAI-powered experience that transforms the lock screen into a smart content hub. Glance delivers AI Styling, Instant Shopping, and AI Spaces—curating content, news, and even personalized outfit recommendations based on user preferences. It also has other notable features such as Magic Editor, object removal, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and real-time image editing.
The Motorola Edge 60 stylus packs a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary camera, which is the best in its class. It also has Ultra Pixel technology, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), and an f/1.8 aperture to offer crisp, bright photos even in low light. It also includes a 13MP ultra-wide + macro lens, and a 32MP Quad Pixel front camera that supports 4K video recording. The camera app also has AI features like Action Shot, Magic Eraser, and AI Photo Enhancement Engine.
Connectivity options are 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.4, and Type-C. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery. It supports 68W TurboPower wired charging, which can give hours of usage in just 15 minutes. It also supports 15W wireless charging, a rare feature at this price point.
The Motorola Edge 60 stylus will go on sale starting April 23, 2025, across Flipkart, Motorola.in, and leading retail stores. It is priced at an effective starting price of ₹21,999.
