Which 12 Stations Will the Bullet Train Pass Through?

Mumbai (Bandra Kurla Complex): This will be the starting station of the corridor

Thane: The station in Thane is proposed near Dombivli East

Virar: This will be the third station in Maharashtra, located in the Palghar district.

Boisar: Boisar station will connect nearby industrial areas.

Vapi: The first station in Gujarat, Vapi is an important commercial hub.

Bilimora: Located in Navsari district, this station will promote regional tourism.

Surat: A major commercial city in Gujarat, Surat will be one of the key stops for the bullet train.

Bharuch: Situated on the banks of the Narmada River, this station will support industrial development.

Vadodara: Known as Gujarat’s cultural and educational hub, construction at this station is progressing rapidly.

Anand/Nadiad: Located in Kheda district, this station will serve the agricultural and dairy industries.

Ahmedabad: Often referred to as the economic capital of Gujarat, the bullet train station will be near Kalupur.

Sabarmati: The final station of the corridor, it will be integrated with the Ahmedabad Metro.

Union Minister Harsh Sanghavi Shares Update

Union Minister Harsh Sanghavi recently shared a post that reads, “India’s first bullet train station in Surat is almost ready. Trial runs will begin next year, and full service is expected by 2029. Also, 300 km of viaduct work near Surat is now complete with the launch of a 40-metre full-span box girder.”
