OPPO has launched the Reno15 series in India with three smartphones. These are the OPPO Reno15, Reno15 Pro mini, and Reno15 Pro. The new lineup focuses on premium design, strong cameras, durability, and long-term software support. Each model targets a slightly different user, which makes clear differentiation important.
OPPO has introduced HoloFusion Technology, which gives the glass back a layered, three-dimensional look. The Dynamic Stellar Ring camera module adds a subtle halo effect under direct light. While design terms can often feel like marketing, OPPO phones usually look distinctive in hand, and this series seems aimed at users who care about visual appeal as much as specifications.
The Reno15 series uses what the company calls an All-Round Armour Body. This combines sponge-inspired internal cushioning with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame to improve drop resistance. More importantly, all three phones come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings.
All three phones feature AMOLED displays with 1.5K resolution, but the experience changes depending on the model. The Reno15 comes with a 6.59-inch flat panel, which should suit users who want a balanced size without going too big. The Reno15 Pro mini uses a smaller 6.32-inch display, making it one of the few compact premium phones available today. The Reno15 Pro, on the other hand, goes all in with a large 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen that supports an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. I personally like the Pro mini simply because compact Android phones with flagship-level features are still rare.
The standard Reno15 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while both Pro models use the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. On paper, the Pro models should deliver better sustained performance, especially for camera-heavy tasks and long video recording sessions. OPPO’s AI-powered cooling system is present across all three phones, which suggests thermal management has been taken seriously, not just limited to the higher-end models.
The Reno15 series runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. OPPO has promised five major ColorOS updates and six years of security updates. This is one of the strongest software support commitments in the Android ecosystem right now.
The Reno15 features a 50MP Sony main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera. It also gets a 50MP front camera, which is generous for a non-Pro model. The Reno15 Pro mini and Reno15 Pro take a more advanced approach with a 200MP main camera. Both models also include a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto portrait lens. OPPO has added features like Ultra-Clear Group Photo and PureTone Technology, which focuses on more natural colour reproduction and better handling of different skin tones.
For video recording, the Pro models support 4K HDR video at 60fps across all cameras, including the front camera.
The Reno15 and Reno15 Pro pack 6500mAh batteries, while the Pro mini comes with a slightly smaller 6200mAh unit. All three phones support 80W fast charging, and the Reno15 Pro adds 50W wireless charging.
