TPSC Recruitment 2025: The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has extended the registration date for Assistant Professor positions in Government (General) Degree Colleges under Advertisement No. 05/2025. Interested individuals can submit applications for the positions through the official website, tpsc.tripura.gov.in till March 17, 2025.
As per the official notice, ‘The submission of online applications for Assistant Professor, Group-A (Gazetted), Government (General) Degree Colleges under the Education (Higher) Department, Government of Tripura, was delayed due to website maintenance. The deadline for submitting online applications is extended till 17.03.2025 (5.30 PM), while the deadline for receiving hard copy documentation is 01.04.2025 (5.30 PM).’

TPSC Recruitment 2025: Pay scale
As per the notice, ‘Permanent posts of Assistant Professor, Group-A Gazetted, Government (General) Degree Colleges under the Education(Higher) Department, Government of Tripura will receive a revised pay of Rs. 57,700/- (57,700- 1,82,400/-) in the Academic Level-IO of the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC, subject to revision by the government from time to time.’
TPSC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational qualification: A master’s degree with a minimum of 55% of the marks (or equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is used) in a relevant/related/allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an approved foreign university.
2. Age limit: Up to 40 years as of March 7, 2025. The upper age limit has been eased for reserved category applicants.
TPSC Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The recruitment procedure has two steps:
(i) Screening by API result: 100 marks.
(ii) Interview/Personality Test: 15 points (15% of 100).
(iii) The final merit list will be prepared with 100 total marks.
