A heartwarming incident of friendship and hope has come to light in Rajasthan. A vegetable seller from the state bought two lottery tickets with the money that he borrowed from his friend. Later, he won Rs. 11 crore on one of the lottery tickets and Rs. 1,000 on the second. The vegetable seller was financially weak, as he couldn’t afford the money to buy tickets. What’s the story of Rajasthan vegetable seller Amit Sehra?

Amit Sehra, the 38-year-old vegetable seller in Rajasthan, was on a trip to Punjab with his friend, Mukesh Sen. On their way back to Rajasthan, they both had a halt at a tea stall in Bathinda, where Sehra saw a lottery stall. He quickly expressed his interest in buying the ticket to Sen, who then asked him to buy two tickets and gave Rs. 1,000 to Sehra.

Amit clicked the pictures of the two tickets and shared them with Sen. After the lottery ticket numbers were announced, he received a call from Sen on October 31 at 10 PM, who congratulated Amit and said that he had hit a jackpot of Rs. 11 crore.

Amit’s gift for his friend

After winning the lottery, Amit Sehra said that he’s planning to give gifts to both the daughters of his friend worth Rs. 50 lakh each. He stated that he had lost his mother and understands the pain of daughters, adding that he would use the remaining amount for his children’s studies and building a house.
