Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Congress MLAs raised issue of police constable recruitment scam on Day-8 of Monsoon Session. They reached Madhya Pradesh Assembly in symbolic khaki uniforms and staged protests, demanding independent investigation in alleged constable scaam.

Led by Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, the MLAs raised slogans like “Police bharti ghotale ki jaanch karo, jaanch karo!” demanding a fair and independent investigation.

According to information, Singhar called the scam “Vyapam Part 2” and said the government was trying to protect corruption in the recruitment process.

The protest happened during the ongoing monsoon session.

Congress leaders claimed that many deserving candidates were left out due to unfair practices in the exam.

They demanded punishment for those responsible and a fresh look at the recruitment.

Similar protest held earlier

Earlier, Congress had also held a symbolic protest where some MLAs dressed up as buffaloes, others played flutes in front of them, and they raised questions like whether youth would get jobs, OBCs would get reservation, and farmers would get fertilisers.

They said the government was not responding to these important issues.

Now, by wearing police uniforms, Congress leaders have again shown their anger against the government and demanded action over the police recruitment scam.
