The chopper of Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned back on Saturday morning due to fog-related disruption in West Bengal’s Taherpur. The helicopter failed to land at the Taherpur helipad in Nadia district. The dense fog led to the severe reduction of visibility, prompting the chopper to hover in the air for a while before turning back to Kolkata. An official reported that PM Modi had reached Kolkata on Saturday morning and, as per the schedule, it was planned that he would travel to Taherpur by helicopter for administrative work and a rally.
What exactly happened to PM Modi’s chopper?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s helicopter hovered over the helipad of Taherpur in an attempt at a potential landing later on. However, the dense fog and poor visibility level left no other option but for the chopper to make a U-turn and get back to Kolkata airport.

What’s next on PM’s schedule in Taherpur?
According to the reports, after returning to Kolkata airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi waited for an update on the matter.
