The Yonex-Sunrise All India Sub Junior (U-15 & U-17) Ranking Badminton Tournament 2025 was held on 22nd June in Mapusa, Goa. Organized under the national ranking circuit, this prestigious tournament brought together the best young shuttlers from across India to compete in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles categories. The event served as a crucial platform for budding players to earn ranking points and showcase their talent on a national stage.
In the Under-17 Boys Doubles, the duo of Pavan S. and Punith S. displayed excellent coordination and determination, securing a tight 21-18 victory over Rishav and Vemai. The girls’ doubles crown was claimed by the impressive pair of Aditi.
Deepak Raj and Vriddhi Ponnamma, who dominated their category. Meanwhile, Punith S. emerged as a standout performer, also teaming up with Aditi Deepak Raj to win the Mixed Doubles title. Their exceptional teamwork and consistency made them one of the top-performing pairs of the tournament.
