Palghar, Maharashtra: In a landmark initiative aimed at taking government services directly to school children, Palghar District Collector Dr. Indurani Jakhar has launched the ‘Certificate at School’ campaign as part of Revenue Week 2025. Under this campaign, essential certificates such as caste, income, and residence proofs will be distributed to 71,000 school students directly at the school level across the district.
The initiative has been developed as a part of the state government’s broader mission to ensure that public services and welfare schemes reach citizens at the grassroots level. Revenue Week, being observed from August 1 to 7, is a statewide campaign launched under the guidance of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
The ‘Certificate at School’ campaign reflects a larger goal of bringing government closer to citizens, especially children and families in remote and tribal-dominated areas. Through Revenue Week 2025, the administration aims to create a more responsive and inclusive system, ensuring no deserving citizen is left out of the government’s reach.
Day-Wise Events Planned During Revenue Week
The Revenue Department has scheduled a series of welfare programs during the week to promote citizen awareness and provide direct services:
