OPPO is all set to launch its new K13 Turbo Series in India on August 11. The series will include two phones: OPPO K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro. The company has already confirmed some big highlights, and it is clear that OPPO is targeting gamers, creators, and performance-focused users with this launch.
The most notable feature of these phones will be a built-in cooling fan. Yes, this will be India’s only smartphone with an in-built fan for cooling. This cooling setup uses a variable-speed fan built into the phone, a large 7000mm² vapor chamber, and a specially designed airflow duct system. Oppo calls it “Storm Engine” technology.
The built-in fan helps move the hot air out quickly. This prevents the phone from slowing down due to high temperatures.
OPPO claims this system helps keep the phone 2–4°C cooler during long gaming sessions. They tested it with games like BGMI, where phones usually heat up quickly. The aim is to offer better performance, less heating, and no frame drops.
The OPPO K13 Turbo Pro will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It has already scored over 2.2 million on AnTuTu. OPPO says that the K13 Turbo series is designed for those who push their phones hard. Not just for gamers, but the phone is also for power users and mobile creators.
There will be three colour options: Silver Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maveric. Around the fan on the back, there are two “mist shadow” breathing LEDs that glow in eight colours.
These phones are expected to cost less than Rs. 40000.
