OPPO has officially launched the OPPO F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+ 5G smartphones in India. The new F31 series focuses on performance, durability, battery life, and AI features.
All three phones feature a 7,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, promising 58% charge in 30 minutes and a full charge in just over an hour. The series also comes with reverse wired charging and bypass charging for gaming to reduce heating.
For durability, OPPO has added a 360° Armour Body with multi-layer shock absorption. The phones carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making them resistant to dust, water, and drops. They are also MIL-STD-810H certified for military-grade toughness.
The F31 series also received an A+ certification from SGS for High-Temperature Fluency, confirming stable frame rates and smooth performance even under heavy load.
The standard OPPO F31 and the F31 Pro both feature a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. Both models can hit up to 1400 nits peak brightness and cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. OPPO has used DT-Star D+ protection glass, which adds scratch resistance without compromising clarity.
The F31 Pro+ has a larger 6.8-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 nits peak brightness. This variant comes with AGC DT-Star D+ glass protection.
OPPO F31 Pro+ packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4nm) with Kryo CPU and Adreno 720 GPU. It supports up to 24GB RAM (12GB physical + 12GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 storage. A 5,219 mm² vapor chamber helps in thermal management. OPPO F31 Pro has MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy (4nm) with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It also supports up to 24GB RAM (12GB + 12GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 storage. A 4,363 mm² vapor chamber and expanded graphite sheets manage heat. OPPO F31 uses MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (6nm) with Mali-G57 GPU. It comes with 8GB/12GB RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. A 4,300 mm² vapor chamber improves thermal efficiency by 21% compared to its predecessor.
All models include a Network Boost Chip N1 that adjusts antenna performance in real time for stable signal strength.
The phones run ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 with OPPO’s Dual-Engine Smoothness System. OPPO promises 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
The 72-Month Fluency Protection 2.0 system ensures long-term smoothness with storage defragmentation, intelligent pre-loading, and adaptive heat strategies.
AI features include:
- AI VoiceScribe: Records meetings and calls, offers real-time translation and summaries in 29+ languages, including Hindi and English.
- AI Call Assistant: Translates both sides of a call in real time using Google’s Gemini model.
- OPPO Docs: Summarizes, rewrites, and translates documents.
- AI Notes Assistant: Corrects errors and organizes text automatically.
The OPPO F31 Pro+ 5G bas a 50MP main rear camera featuring the OV50D40 sensor, a large f/1.8 aperture, and two-axis OIS for stable shots. It is paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor, On the front, it carries a 32MP selfie camera (GalaxyCore 32E2 sensor) with an f/2.4 aperture.
The F31 Pro has a very similar setup. It uses the 50MP OV50D40 main sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has 32MP front camera.
The standard F31 comes with a 50MP OV50D40 main sensor with OIS, accompanied by a 2MP depth camera. Unlike the Pro models, it adds an extra 2MP portrait sensor to provide better background separation in portrait shots. For selfies, it has a 16MP IMX480 front camera with f/2.4 aperture.
OPPO has included AI Portrait Enhancement, Night Mode 2.0, AI HDR video, and an upgraded AI Scene Recognition that can detect multiple environments like cityscapes, food, and landscapes.
All models include stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G SA/NSA support, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C.
