Lucknow: On Tuesday, officials and members of the NSUI (National Students’ Union of India) submitted a memorandum to the President of India through the District Magistrate of Lucknow. The NSUI accused the SSC (Staff Selection Commission) of gross negligence and irregularities in its examination processes, stating that the future of students is at risk.

According to District President Akhilesh Yadav, the delegation raised concerns about recurring technical glitches in the SSC’s exams, errors in answer keys, and a lack of transparency in the results. They also condemned the police for their “inhumane and repressive” treatment of students and teachers who were protesting peacefully. Yadav emphasized that such behavior toward the education community is unacceptable.

The NSUI has demanded that the SSC ensure complete transparency in its examination system, form an independent technical committee to review answer keys and results, investigate the role of private agencies involved in the exams, and take strict action against those responsible for the reported student safety incidents. The union stressed that the issue is not just about exams but about the constitutional rights and self-respect of the country’s youth.
