With Pakistan gearing up to host the upcoming edition of the Champions Trophy and teams reaching in their country for the eight-team event, fans are eagerly waiting for things to kickstart. However, even as eight teams are participating in the Champions Trophy, India’s flag couldn’t be spotted at the top of the National Stadium in Karachi along with all other nations’. Nevertheless, a section of Indian fans were unfazed about it.
A video of the same surfaced on social media on February 16, Sunday. India are the only team among the eight who will play all their matches in Dubai as the BCCI refused to send their side in Pakistan, citing security concerns. Hence, netizens believe this was the reason that the tri-colour wasn’t spotted at the top of the National Stadium in Karachi along with other flags.
