The NEET UG 2025 exam will be held on May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM in pen and paper mode across various centres in India and abroad.The new tie-breaker rules will no longer use application numbers or age to settle ties.Merit order will be determined based on higher scores in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, in that order of preference.In case of a tie, fewer errors across all sections will be considered, followed by fewer wrong responses in each subject.If the tie remains unresolved, a random process directed by an independent expert committee will be used.The NEET UG 2025 paper will contain 180 compulsory questions: 45 in Physics and Chemistry, and 90 in Biology.Exam centres will open three hours before the test, with entry closing at 1:30 PM, and latecomers will not be allowed inside.NEET UG scores will be used for admissions to various medical courses, including MBBS, BDS, BVSc & AH, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS.
