MP Shocker! Drunk Man Axes Wife To Death In Front Of 11-Year-Old Son In Shivpuri; Sleeps Beside Body All Night

Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking case of murder was reported from Madhya Pradesh Shivpuri district, where a drunk man axed his wife to death in front of his son. 

According to information, the incident took place in Shivraj village under Mayapur police station area on Friday night. 

A man named Hariram Adivasi, allegedly drunk, killed his wife Kesar Bai with an axe in a fit of rage. The horrific act happened in front of their 11-year-old son.

It is said that Hariram came home drunk as usual, which led to a heated argument with his wife.

Around 11 pm, when Kesar Bai protested against his drinking, Hariram verbally abused her and then attacked her with an axe. She died on the spot.

Man slept next to the corpse 

What’s even more disturbing is that after the murder, Hariram sat beside his wife’s body and later even slept next to it through the night. Their young son witnessed everything but stayed silent out of fear.

The next morning, Hariram fled from the house. His terrified son then went to the neighbors and told them about the incident. Shocked villagers informed the police, who reached the scene, sent the body for postmortem, and arrested the accused.

Mayapur Police Station in-charge Neetu Singh confirmed that a case of murder has been registered against Hariram and he is now in police custody.
