MP CM Mohan Yadav Inaugurates Mega Health Camp In Morena; Says, ‘Consider Doctors God’ | FP Photo
Morena (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said people never come to hospital willingly, but if they get proper treatment, they consider doctors God. Yadav made the statement during the inauguration of a mega health camp organised by Rotary Club on the SAF ground in Morena on Wednesday.
Yadav visited the OPD of the hospital and testing centers where he met the doctors and the members of the Rotary Club. Any kind of pain to humans is a challenge for them, Yadav said, adding that the top doctors of the country are present at the camp to benefit the people of Morena.
The specialty of the camp is that treatment of all kinds of diseases is available there, he said. Yadav said his government always tried to set up good medical colleges and hospitals to benefit the people. The common man is getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh with the help of Ayush card, and this facility is also available to those who are above 70 years.
The government has also provided the facility of air ambulance keeping in mind the geographical condition of the state, he said. Those suffering from serious diseases will get immediate treatment with the help of Ayushman card, he said.
Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomer, also present on the occasion, said the health camp was held with the help of the state government, the district administration and the Rotary Club. Earlier, health facilities in this region of the state were hardly good, for only a 100-bed hospital was available to the people, but now, there is a 600-bed hospital.
Tomar said it had always been his endeavour to ensure better health facilities to the people of Morena. Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha said the camp was in the memory of Maheshwari family Mohanpyari Devi.
Memorandum submitted
A memorandum was handed over to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to protest the illegal detention of a senior journalist, Kapil Singoria, in Bhopal on Tuesday. The Media Federation of Madhya Pradesh handed over the memorandum to Yadav at the helipad.
