Motorola has launched its newest flip phone in India, the Motorola Razr 60. This is a fresh upgrade in the Razr series, and it brings some cool new features and improvements.

The Razr 60 has a large 6.96-inch internal foldable OLED display with a smooth 1 to 120Hz variable refresh rate. This means the screen adjusts its refresh rate depending on what you’re doing, saving battery while giving a smooth experience. The screen also supports 120% DCI-P3 color gamut and reaches up to 3000 nits peak brightness, which is bright enough even in sunlight.

On the outside, the phone sports a 3.63-inch QuickView OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 1700 nits brightness. This smaller outer screen is perfect for quick tasks like checking notifications, answering calls, or controlling music without unfolding the phone. Both screens have improved brightness compared to the previous model.

The Razr 60 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor built on a 4nm process, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on the latest Android 15 with a promise of 3 OS updates and 4 years of security patches.

The phone has a solid camera setup, too. It features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.7 aperture, supported by a 13MP ultra-wide camera that also has macro mode. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Video recording supports up to 4K at 30fps. One unique feature is the world’s first video gestures with a 100% true color camera, which means you can control the phone with hand gestures while it maintains accurate color reproduction on video calls.

For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA support, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.

Motorola has also focused on durability. The Razr 60 features a titanium reinforced hinge tested for up to 500,000 flips. It also comes with IP48 dust and water resistance, making it more reliable for everyday use.

The phone packs a 4500mAh battery, slightly bigger than the previous Razr 50. It supports 30W TurboPower fast charging and 15W wireless charging, so you won’t be stuck waiting too long to power up.

Price and availability

The Motorola Razr 60 is priced at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. It comes in attractive colors inspired by Pantone: Gibraltar Sea, Spring Bud, and Lightest Sky.

You can buy the phone starting June 4 from motorola.com, Flipkart, and offline stores across India.
