Motorola is gearing up to launch the Edge 60 Fusion, and the company has started teasing key details about the device. From the teasers, it’s clear that Motorola is focusing on offering a premium experience at a competitive price. With a curved display, AI-powered features, and top-tier durability, the Edge 60 Fusion will be a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market.

Motorola’s teaser tagline says “True colours hit different.”* suggests that the Edge 60 Fusion will offer a vibrant display. The phone will feature a curved screen to give the phone a premium look and a more immersive viewing experience.

One of the standout features is the IP68 + IP69 rating, which ensures protection against dust, water, and even high-pressure water jets. This level of durability is now common in mid-range phones. We have seen phones from Realme, Narzo, and POCO brands offering IP68 + IP69 rating.

Motorola claims that the Edge 60 Fusion will offer the best AI experience in its price segment. While specifics are yet to be revealed, we can expect AI-enhanced photography, AI productivity features, smarter battery optimizations, and smoother overall performance.

The Edge 60 Fusion will be available in three color options and will feature a vegan leather back. However, Motorola has reportedly removed the metal frame to cut costs. While this might help keep the phone lightweight, some users may prefer the sturdiness of a metal build. It’s a trade-off that will largely depend on pricing and real-world durability tests.

Motorola has confirmed some details about the phone’s camera. The triple rear camera setup includes:

  • 50MP Sony LYTIA sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)
  • 12mm ultra-wide lens
  • Third sensor (not yet confirmed) – Likely a macro or depth sensor to enhance portrait shots.

While the camera hardware looks promising, the real test will be in how well Motorola’s image processing software performs. Many brands use high-resolution sensors, but image quality often comes down to software optimization. I have reviewed Moto Edge 50 fusion and it impressed me with its camera performance.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion** is expected to launch globally, including in India, by early April. Motorola has confirmed that more details will be revealed on March 24th, so we should know the exact launch date soon.
