Minor Fire Breaks Out At Bata Showroom In Fort; No Injuries Reported | Representational Image

A fire broke out at a Bata showroom in the Fort area on Saturday night, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Firefighting operations continued late into the night. No injuries have been reported so far, confirmed the BMC’s Disaster Management Cell.

The blaze erupted around 10 PM on the first floor of the Rustam Building near Veer Nariman Road in Fort. Fire brigade personnel, along with officials from the BMC’s A Ward and BEST, rushed to the scene to begin firefighting efforts. The fire was classified as a Level 1 (minor) incident at 10:21 PM.

As of midnight, no casualties had been reported. Fire officials are making all-out efforts to douse the blaze and bring the situation under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
