Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The MP District Administration Reformation Commission is working to restructure the divisions, districts and other administrative units in the state. But the minister is unaware about the commission.
Minister of state for Urban Development Pratima Bagri dashed off a letter to the Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department, seeking information about the progress of making Satna a division. In the letter, Bagri mentioned that he wrote to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on November 18 last year to make Satna a division.
She requested Yadav to make Satna a division consisting of Satna, Maihar and Panna districts. Yadav directed the officials to take necessary action.
A decision to make new districts and divisions has been put off after the setting up of the MP District Administration Reformation Commission. A decision will be taken only after the commission’s recommendations.
