According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of the northern wind is also being seen in the state. There was severe cold for the last 4 days, especially in Rajgarh, Shajapur, Umaria, Mandla, Naugaon, and Malajkhand. At the same time, the effect of the cold wave was also seen in these cities.

On Thursday-Friday night the temperature slipped down to 6.2 degrees in Kalyanpur of Shahdol, 7.9 degrees in Girwar connected to Shajapur, 8 degrees in Naugaon, Umaria, and Pachmarhi, 8 degrees in Mandla, 8.3 degrees in Malajkhand, 9.4 degrees in Jabalpur, while 10.5 degrees were recorded in Bhopal, 13 degrees in Indore, 11.8 degrees in Gwalior, and 11 degrees in Ujjain. However, on Friday the day temperature increased by one to two degrees.

No chance of rain

The weathermen said that there will be mild cold for the next week. During this time the sky will remain clear, and there is no chance of rain.

New Western Disturbance from March 9

A Western Disturbance may become active in the Western Himalayan region from March 9. If this happens, the effect can be seen in the state after two days. However, there is no chance of rain yet.
