One such officer’s story is that of a female IPS officer, who built a strong reputation as a tough officer, but eventually left everything behind to embrace devotion to Lord Krishna.

Meet Bharti Arora:

  • Bharti Arora is a former IPS officer from the Haryana cadre. She is from the 1998 batch and has served as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in several districts of Haryana, as well as the Inspector General (IG) for the Karnal range.
  • Throughout her career, she investigated numerous significant cases, including bomb blasts and other high-profile matters.
  • She had a reputation as a tough police officer.
  • As an SP, she once arrested a prominent political leader, showcasing her straightforward approach.
  • She had a history of taking bold decisions. Bharti did not hesitate to take strict actions to curb crime. Due to her exemplary work, she was honored multiple times by the government.

Bharti and Her Love For Krishna

Bharti was a strong follower of Lord Krishna and had a deep love for visiting Vrindavan, a place she started visiting in 2004. Her devotion to Krishna grew so intense that she decided to dedicate herself entirely to him.

As a result, she chose to retire from her service 10 years earlier than required. She expressed her desire to practice Krishna’s devotion, much like Meera Bai, the renowned saint and devotee of Krishna.
